Tunecore is a music publishing service that allows any artist to sell their music on two of the most powerful music sellers: iTunes and Rhapsody. Their system allows music artists to upload their tunes to their site and then sell via the music retail giants without taking any rights nor proceeds from the sale.

We used http://www.dittomusic.com for both of our albums.
They are cheaper, cover more stores and get you live in 4 weeks with a fixed release date, and make you chart eligible.
As well as the 11 tunecore sites, they cover 700 extra stores including Spotify and take 0% commissionon sales.
