Unable to find ways to squeeze more money from us though activities like charging us for pop, the airline industry is trying a new wheeze by charging passengers for “special fees” such as aisle seats, same day flight chamges, sitting in the emergency roww and charging bags for check in. Check the piece on Reuters, we just love the quote from the United Airlines person – if that’s what you calls perks, darling….

  1. It will be a tricky one for parents travelling with small children as they’re the ones who benefit most from premium space. Still, if premium rates for premium seats minimizes the rising cost of fuel then I’m all for it. I’ll feel much more satisfied in my cramped seat knowing I paid less for it.
