Blackberry: The Mobile Desk Phone

Industry analyst Om Malik suggests that now Blackberry have shaken off their legal issues, it’s time to flex its muscles. Malik suggests that Blackberry has a great opportunity with VoIP telephony especially with the new Google-chat functionality. Malik also suggests that the Blackberry becomes a “mobile desk phone” where it integrates tightly with existing PBX and IP-PBX telephony systems to “push” voice calls and extend desk phone functionality.
