In an apparent move to get “closer to the customer”, ad agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky are moving to world’s center for trends: Boulder, Colorado – home of youthful trendmeister Josh Spear. Well, close by his little house anyway. Miami just wasn’t cool enough anymore.
In response, Josh told PSFK that the skiing is great in Boulder and that we should check his site frequently for cool product ideas. (Update: We made that bit that Josh said up, if you hadn’t of guessed and with our hangover, we said it was Denver when it’s Boulder – and Josh tells us that there’s no skiing in Boulder. What the hell does he do with all his time then?)

After seeing what CP+B has come up with for VW, I would suggest an office in Outer Mongolia. They have as much chance of getting closer to the customer there as in Miami and Boulder. Also, no one watches TV in Boulder, everyone is out mountain biking while drinking mocha, cinnamon spinkle, fat-free, caffeine-free, taste-free lattes. Unless they’re feeding Steve Buscemi into a wood chipper!
