For a spot to out-do the simplicity and beauty of last years Sony ad is asking a lot. From the concept alone, the new Orange Mobile ad from Johnny Hardstaff and agency collaborator Mother had a good shot. The spot features brightly colored paint poured into various glass containers, which overflow. Where this spot misses is on the audio. Wrong music and a horrible voice over. Still it is beautiful to watch. This spot is a departure for Hardstaff who in the past has produced work that looks much more high-tech. You can download the spot here. (see the option at the bottom)
