Want A Good Deal On Your Hotel Room? Check Your Weight
A hotel in the German town of Norden, in a novel experiment to discourage to obesity, has begun charging its guests by the kilo - you pay 0.5 euros per kilo per night. Juergen Heckrodt, the owner of the hotel, hopes that this approach would encourage people to become leaner. To be sure that no one gets offended, he does offer the standard rate for people who don’t want to be weighed.
