Fashion Week Daily highlights a two hour talk between Donna Karan and Parsons dean Paul Goldberger to discuss ‘life, fashion, and its evolution’. The content is surprisingly refreshing.

One quote in particular springs to mind, Karan says, ‘Fashion is moving at an unrealistic pace. I’d like for fashion to be for the consumer, not the press.’ An intelligent comment to make – lets hope, in light of LVMH the boss these days, the ‘Queen of Seventh Avenue’ still has the power to address her consumer’s wishes.
