Australia’s premier fashion event begins its 11th event today at Circular Quay in Sydney. This will be the first Fashion Week since IMG bought the group responsible for organising the event, and a slicker, more professional direction is said to have been taken.
The acquisition by IMG cements MAFW as one of the most important events in global fashion, and is characteristic of the growing recognition of Australian designers on the world stage.
