MTV Sneaker Attack

by Guy Brighton

MTV Overdrive, MTV’s video broadband channel that airs you guessed it free music videos, live concerts, movie trailers, news and other original programming has launched a series called Sneak Attack. The show takes a deep look into "the underground world of sneaker collecting". The first few clips focus on the ultra limited Stash release (The New Art). This fascination of sneaker culture by the mainstream is a trend that has been developing for some time now and it’s clearly not showing signs of slowing down.

For more coverage on the sneaker scene check out this thorough piece in the NYTimes, It’s Gotta Be The Shoes, on Flight Club, a sneaker consignment shop in New York.
