New York Times Starts Blogging Offline

By Piers Fawkes on April 24, 2006

When we were writing a post for eco.psfk today reporting an article we found in the New York Times we realized they were doing something we do (a lot).

To us, the Times seems to have reported the contents of a blog post in the same way a blog post normally reports on the contents of a mainstream media article. You know how we say, “The Times reports this” or “The Independent has a review” – now, the New York Times does this too!

On the subject of Walmart’s plans to use its weight to encourage eco/sustainable product purchase behavior, the NYT says:

The online environmental magazine Grist gave soft applause to Wal-Mart last week in its introduction to a Q. and A. session with H. Lee Scott Jr., the chief executive.

…and then goes on to quote from the blog and comment on it! Now, if only the hyperlinks worked.
