Nintendo Revolution To Be Called The Wii

Nintendo’s next gaming system will be called the Wii. Up until now, the system has been ‘code named’ Revolution. This is the reaction from one of our contributors, Floyd Hayes:

Erm…Nintendo’s nextgen console, codenamed “Revolution” has been officially named “Wii” as in “we” – check out the gaming blogs they are on FIYAH dude….

Is it cool like VAIO (Video Audio Input Output) or Wega? iPOD probably looked weird on day one as a name, I know Frankie Goes To Hollywood was very odd when first heard….
