Panjea: Myspace + Making Dollars?!

Today I heard about Panjea from a Myspace bulletin message.The message said that you make $$$ with joining the Panjea account which is similar to Myspace. So I googled it, technoratied it and even did a digg search, but I couldn’t find anything. I went  directly to the site and  I am intrigued. According to Panjea’s website:

Panjea’s mission is to unite and empower the global artistic
community. One of the ways we’re achieving this is by sharing the
advertising revenue with members who build unique pages and contribute
original video, music, photos, or blogs to the network. Panjea Share
gives a portion of all the advertising revenue generated on your Panjea
page back to you. The more people that visit your page on Panjea, the
more
money you make.

Can Panjea be a way to monetize social networking communities where the
revenue is actually shared with members of the community?  Let’s wait and see.
