Planet magazine sf party

Planet magazine launched its Visionaries issue on Monday night at a party for over 200 at Minna Gallery in San Francisco. The party featured art curated by Suzanne Shade of The Beholder, who showed work by a range of artists including- Ryan Kapp, Matthew Curry and Ana Ura.

Music was distinctly tango in flavor, featuring the Gotan Project’s new CD and a live dance performance from Nuevo Tango.

Sadly, not many of the 30 Visionaries featured in the magazine’s new issue, showed for the party. This not entirely surprising, because included in Planet’s 30, are such luminaries as, Matthew Barney, Jimmy Wales, Tom Friedman and Zadie Smith.
