Apple To Push Mini-Store Concept

Apple are planning to relaunch their Mini-Store strategy with a launch of 20 to 30 stores by September 06, ifoapplestore.com reports. The original Mini-Store strategy was announced in October 2004 but few locations were built. ifo says:

There were originally up to 50 mini-stores planned, according to a ThinkSecret tip, including five on college campuses. But just six of the stainless steel-wrapped stores opened on that first day, and another three opened over the next two months. None has opened since.
