This is probably something you could have guessed anyway – nevertheless, it’s good to find some figures on the Boston Globe’s Business Filter:

While sales of digital-music players tripled last year to $3.7 billion, traditional home stereo sales equaled only $1.2 billion.

Will the HiFi soon look as out of place one day as the big box TV?
