Nike Joga3 Football Vending Machine

We’ve been jogging past this machine for the last week now, reminding ourselves to bring a camera to take a snap of this vending machine offered by Nike. Luckily, Josh Rubin has a snap on his Coolhunting site – so we no longer need to kick ourselves. Anyway, we know he says it’s at Chelsea Piers but the one we see is further south at Pier 40 where the Houston meets the river – you know, where they built a huge soccer field on what used to be a parking lot. Each week hundreds of kids practice their soccer skills in the vast field. Quite handy to have this soccer machine near by, in case one of them punts a ball into the Hudson.

Balls are $20 each. There were no balls left on Sunday.
