"Just wrote this about 10 minutes ago.. didn’t think I’ve put a video on here in a while so, here’s my latest C=" writes Unfabulous – a sixteen year old from Bowmanville, California. Five days later, over 125,000 people have watched her home video of her song "I don’t think so" (lyrics are provided for those who want to sing along) – and she’s been given 3 and a half stars for the effort. Her previous song got four and a half – but then again – only 25,000 people watched that video.

YouTube is creating an instant medium for aspiring singers and musicians to showcase their work. With a webcam aimed at them, they can instantly broadcast their latest tune to hundreds of thousands of YouTube users. And those users can vote for you. Where are the Judges, you say? Oh – the comments section gives enough drama in the ‘praise and criticism’ section to compete with Paula and Simon.
