America The Lonely
A new study shows that the only one in two Americans have close friends. The survey showed that only 50.6% had a close relationship with someone who wasn’t their spouse or relative – down from 73.2% in the mid-1980s – and 24.6% had nobody at all, compared to just 10% in 1985.
