Event: The Art Of The Remix, Apple Store, NYC

Trojanrecords LargeAt the Apple Store in SoHo on June 27th, DJ Spooky will be providign a demo on how he used Apple software to remix dub tracks from his new album In Fine Style: 50,000 Volts of Trojan Records with Apple software. iTunes is sponsoring the event. The Apple Store site says:

Join remix master Paul D. Miller aka DJ Spooky that Subliminal Kid, for a hands-on look at musical track building on the Mac. He’ll show you modern sampling and production techniques used to create any style of music from scratch. With an emphasis on the history of remixing, DJ Spooky will trace back today’s popular sounds to many jamaican dub influenced roots.
