The much anticipated launch of Alexander McQueen’s diffusion line has been greeted with the expected applause from the fashion industry and for once the applause is merited. First glimpses show a collection diffused from archive pieces with solid direction and relevance today.
Of more importance to the London Fashion scene is a unconfirmed rumour that McQueen will show the diffusion line at London Fashion Week, a venue he’s shunned since 2001.
