MySpace have launched a careers site with the help of Simply Hired. From a link off the homepage, MySpace folks can search over “5 million job listings” including work for Lifeguard, Camp Counselor, Swim Instructor & Valet!

Deals like this show the positive impact a corporate investor can have on a startup. Note that competitor Indeed took an investment from the New York Times last year, and they partially power the NYT online jobs search engine.

It’s June 13… the time for MySpace to launch this was 1 month ago as college and high school kids awoke for their last week of school.
