We’ve been banging on about the rise of the Scooter for a while now and, cor-blimey, we even saw a feature on the local Fox news the other day (the report ended with a focus on the dangers of riding a Scooter of course) – anyway, Vespa is pushing a petition to converting parking spaces in the US for our 2 wheel friends. Europe already has spaces dedicated for motorbikes and every time a space gets created in London – it’s quickly filled up (see picture above).

In London we need some more spaces… I have to get to work for 7.30 am to guarantee a space near my office. Scooters are the way forward

San Francisco is in a similar state. I think things are still pretty manageable here but if the trend keeps ganing momentum we’ll need a bit more. It makes a lot of sense on a number of levels to encourage two wheeled transport.
