There’s one gadget that is almost as iconic as the iPod that gets often overlooked my the press and the trends blogs: it’s the Sidekick. Across the US, a huge tribe of teens, celebs and adults carry their phone to talk, text and mail from – it’s presence is huge – but somehow it’s just not well noticed by the media.

On July 10 the third version of the Sidekick phone (Sidekick) will be launched and includes a 1.3 MP camera, USB link, MiniSD card slot and Bluetooth 1.2, I4U news reports.
