It’s the end of the road for Polo Ralph Lauren’s newly reacquired Polo Jeans Co. due to lack of sales. After an exhausting court battle with the previous owners of the Jeans’ license, Jones Apparel Group, the Ralph Lauren Company successfully bought back the rights to the denim brand and is now planning to expand the parent company with a new line of upscale denim products. Among other things, these new jeans will feature a significantly higher price tag.
