Ford to drive green revolution with £1bn R&D project

Ford is turning its back on high-performance vehicles and is going green. The US car giant is expected to announce today a £1bn investment in the UK for environmental projects such as biofuels, new-generation diesels, direct-injection petrol and light-weight materials.
