Guerrilla Shopping in Cape Town

Guerrilla Shopping in Cape Town

By Dan Pinch on July 30, 2006

Hot new Cape Town label, Los Cojones Del Perro, have made a habit of doing things their own way and are putting some much needed fun into local fashion. The label caused a buzz during the local election with a spoof lamp post poster campaign featuring the company’s frontman (or is it Top Dog?) Mickey Munden. Their latest venture is a series of Guerrilla Shopping escapades. Friday night saw them take over dodgy old man’s pub, The Fireman’s Arms, in central Cape Town, for some retail therapy to the soundtrack of Kwaito and Hi-Nrg. International fashionistas can catch them at Magic in Vegas in August.
