History Of Estée Lauder

The Telegraph has a detailed review of Estée Lauder and the legacy she left behind:

At the height of her personal power and prestige in the mid-1980s, one of Lauder’s set speeches involved her saying, ‘I did not get there by wishing for it or dreaming about it or hoping for it. I got there by working for it.’ She wasn’t exaggerating. She was one of the hardest working women in the business – probably, for that matter, in any business. She never stopped toiling, day or night.

  1. Dear Estee Lauder Family,
About a year ago I had a totally clear dream about sailing a large catamaran on what I believe was the Volga River, but could have been some USA River or water way.
The “cat” had a huge square rigged sail, and acrose it, and above the center were, in large capital letters the word “ESTEE LAUDER”
My wife or lady friend and I were representing your product. Do you have any early recognition of anything like the above? I could practically feel the wind and the water spray.
Your reply would be much appreciated.
