Iceberg Water

Iceberg WaterIf there’s one thing that provides constant amusement to us folk at PSFK, it’s a new attempt by a water-bottler makes to outdo the competition with a new edge. Today we picked up Iceberg Water when we went and picked up a sandwich from Dean & Deluca. My goodness, no wonder the icebergs are disappearing – the Canadians are dragging them south and melting them into plastic bottles. The description reads:

Harvested off the coast of Newfoundland, 12,000 year old Icebergs are melted to produce this unique water.

  1. Their water is ok. Their vodka is even better.

  2. Melting icebergs??? They are going to melt anyway!! They drift to Newfoundland on their own with the ocean current and then melt in the waters of Newfoundland. They are not forced “south”, they are “disappearing” because they have been melted – it’s their natural process. Clearly you have no knowledge of the paths they travel or their lifespan.
