Argos: Cash for Phones
Due to the overwhelming success of the mobile-for-cash program launched
last February by UK retailer Argos, the program will be extended to Ireland. The scheme prompts customers to donate their old mobiles with an incentive of up to 100 Euros. The plan aims to reduce the number of perfectly good phones wasting away in landfills while also aiding less developed parts of the world.
