I’d say if you asked me what the most modern type of man was, I’d pretty much describe someone like Zach Condon. Not the most manly type of modernity, but certainly the most modern of men. Plain clothes (RIP metrosexuality), smart, zero machismo, but not weak (physically, emotionally) either. I’m projecting these qualities onto a guy I don’t know, and I’m not saying he’s the ultimate example, but it’s this type that I consider to be rising from the ashes of Hemingway’s example which lasted all of the 20th century.
