Marc Schiller, CEO of the digital marketing and strategy agency ElectricArtists, working with Starwood Hotels to launch the first hotel brand in virtual reality. With the assistance of leading SL architects Electric Sheep, Starwood and ElectricArtists are using Second Life to preview Starwood’s new aloft hotels, a new hotel brand currently in development from the creative team behind the W hotels. PSFK’s IF! asked Marc to explain what the reasons were that drove real-world brands developing products and services in the virtual world.
