Nimbuzz enables your mobile phone to chat and sent text messages for free within your own ‘community’. It’s more than just a Skype for mobiles as, like the Mylo, it also allows users to tap into their MSN and Google Talk friends list and talk to them.

The other nifty feature is that you get a free ‘buzz alert’ whenever your buddies are online - much like other online chat software.

You can check its list to see if your phone is compatible and there’s also the stand alone chat software to download onto your PC as well.
