I wouldn’t take this as a bad sign for the skinny jean. The jeans themselves look good, stylish without a need to shout or have ‘of the moment’ details.
I usually wouldn’t go near Gap, but I’ve seen these ad’s in London, and from just the womens ad I’m going to go and have a look at what else they have, and I’m a guy!
These are NOT skinny jeans!!!! Look closely!!!! They just call them that, but they are SUPER moderated for mainstream women’s legs. So that they can say: I am wearing a skinny jeans too but not look too fat. Haha! GAP, you can’t kill this trend, you just fake it anyways. That’s why you are going down the drain. Only true brands survive. No street dred, sorry.

good lord. god forbid that mainstream women have a chance in hell at being anywhere near as fashion concious as a size 0. they should just all put on their moms jeans, rub their bellys together and go to the local university’s football game.
what a snobbish comment. take your head out of your “probably didn’t grow up urban, anyway” arsch. geez louise c. loosen up. i think your jeans are too skinny.
i completely agree with ‘k’ if being curvy and not fitting into jeans for people with flat arses who look like anorexic 7 year old boys is what you mean by a ‘mainstream’ women, then i’m happy to be part of that group!

i’ll consider the death of the skinny jean when it comes to JCPenney. the Gap is just trying to dig itself out of the hole it’s created. good luck.
