US Government Creates Tidal Waves In Second Life
As you can see in the above photo, PSFK avatar Brighton Giugiaro is about to get a soaking from a tidal wave created to demonstrate the power of nature. Brighton survives as the wave is for education purposes. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL) has created an island in Second Life where they demonstrate fluid dynamics. The NOAA is the US governmental agency tasked with researching the oceans, climate and weather.
