I also blogged about this article after reading the Observer link. The comments highlighted a glaring omission, where is Hotmail on this list?
Since the internet is largely about communications, surely the first tool to bring email to the masses is pretty important!

Someone else commented on goatse and 4chan. These sites typify all that is reat/funny/wrong about the internet. I think it’s probably important to include a few sites from the underbelly of the internet, because let’s face it, the internet isn’t all sweetness and light!
