Wired Nextfest NYC
Looking for something to do at the end of next month in NYC?
WIRED’s vision of a new world’s fair, WIRED NextFest is a four-day festival of innovative products and technologies that are transforming our world. Patterned on the great World’s Fairs of the past, this year’s NextFest in New York features more than 130 interactive exhibits from leading scientists and researchers around the world. Experience the future of exploration, entertainment, transportation, health, communication, design, security, and green living.
They’ve got a pretty impressive list of sponsors for each of the pavilions. Atari is handling the Future of Play, AutoDesk(makers of AutoCad) has the Future of Green, Discovery Channel is doing the Future of Entertainment, and GM has the Future of Transportation.
The event runs from September 29th to October 1st at Javits Center. You can get tickets online and at only $15, it’s a pretty good deal. PSFK will be roaming the hall on Friday the 29th.
