If you happen to be passing through Amsterdam’s Airport Schiphol, don’t forget to bring your hardware.  Ryan O’Donnell points out some pretty nifty gadgets installed in the airport to keep travelers plugged in and help relieve some of the mind numbing boredom that traveling ensues.   

Leave it to those crafty Dutch to create the next generation of “digital dessert” by introducing Fuel For Travel. Though FFT is not compatible with my favorite Apple products yet, the iPod vending machines powered by Zoom Systems that have been popping up at airports couldn’t be a better fit for this on the go download station. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my hour and a half wait than to buy some electronics and fill them with goodies for the trip.
