Carnival of Modern Man: Dressing Down?

Recently there has been a lot of talk about the shift in men’s business attire from suit and tie to a t-shirt and jeans.  It seems celebrities too are ditching the designers and dressing down for the red carpet.  But what does this imply about the modern man?
