Carnival of Modern Man: Cars

By Jeff Squires on September 18, 2006

Men and cars have always been closely associated.  However, the classic conception of masculinity has never really strayed far from muscle cars and monster trucks.  So, for those of you who want their wheels served with a little less machismo, Intersection Magazine is a resource for the modern man.  Craig Brimm describes:

If the editors of Wallpaper magazine were fueled by testosterone and
traded thier Prada for Perelli it would be Intersection Magazine. This
mag is simply sublime, it is what a car mag should be. The pages are
loaded with bespoke autos and concept vehicles that go way beyond
what’s hot for next fall.

Here’s how their webpage describes them:Intersection

Cars are at the
crossroads of contemporary art, style, business and society. The car
has begun its greatest period of change since the birth of mass
production a century ago. Intersection provides the context to help us see where we’re going.

Intersection treats all species of car – concept, custom, production, industrial, classic and imaginary – as part of the same race.

Photographed like a fashion magazine, written like a novel, Intersection takes the scenic route to get straight to the point.
