Event: Ron Arad Opening
Barry Friedman Ltd. will present “THERE IS NO SOLUTION because there is no problem”, a special exhibition of new work by designer Ron Arad in Chelsea this month. The opening party is this Thursday night the 12th from 6-9pm PSFK got a sneak(yes we really did sneak in) preview and the pieces are amazing.
Throughout his career, world-renown architect and designer Ron Arad has experimented with a wide range of materials. His exploration has demonstrated how the use of specific materials affects structure, appearance and the perception of a unique form.
Arad has designed many iconic furniture pieces including the ‘bookworm’ shelf. He also has an active architectural business having completed projects for Y’s (Yohji Yamamoto) flagship store; Upper World Hotel; Battersea Power Station, London; Maserati Ferrari Headquarters Showroom in Modena
