Phone As Conduit: Phone With FM Transmitter

by Piers Fawkes

Fusic sprintWe received this free phone from Sprint at the weekend as part of their Sprint Ambassador program. The one feature that really caught our attention was the FM Transmitter that’s built into the phone. We’ve talked before about the idea that the mobile phone will become more of a conduit for our entertainment media in the future - rather than an end terminal - and this feature reflects this idea.

The Fusic phone can play the music it holds on it on a FM frequency, allowing users to listen to the music on their home or office stereo, or even their car radio.
