WiFi On Public Transport/Power Of Comments
Engadget did a post recently on San Francisco’s new WiFi network now being available on buses. Interesting stuff I thought and definitely a way for public transport to target and encourage more users of its service. However, reading through the comments, it seems SF is not the only place this is on offer.
In Cincinnati, bus company LilyPad are offering the same service on their buses and has been since March.
Also in the comments, is a link to this story, stating another bus company in San Francisco has been doing this since last year.
Interesting story but the comments function on blogs simply adding a whole new dimension to the issue.
