BBC Wants US Bloggers

by Guy Brighton

Midtermssam
Even if you don’t live in the US you still know about the mid-term elections next week. The BBC are looking for bloggers to help them do their job and cover the developments and election races as it happens.

They are looking to develop a group of ‘citizen reporters’ and are also interested in participants from outside the US:

  • Personal views of the race from people with an interesting perspective (perhaps you are a recent immigrant or an Iraq vet for example)
  • Bloggers, podcasters and vloggers who are covering their local race.
  • Anyone with a real interest in local politics and an ability to tell the story of the race in their town and state.
  • People from overseas with a real stake in the result.

Reporters will be asked to send in audio commentary or even appear in phone or skype interviews. If you’re interested then email them at upallnight@bbc.co.uk
