Craft For Kids

by Piers Fawkes

Craft Kids

We found quite a contrast this weekend when we went shopping for a gift for not-so-little baby Kit. We started off at Yoyamart and we love how the funky little store is for both big people and small people. But at the same time, you start to think, haven’t we seen enough of these Kid-Robot style designer toys for kids already (and are some of the more monstrous ones, that appropriate). Anyway, the contrast appeared in Kirna Zabete, Simon King’s favorite fashion store in NYC. Down in the basement, the selection for kids was definitely non-plastic: shelves and shelves of all these knitted toys.

Time for Yoyamart to catch up? Your thoughts?
