Not really a matchup we could have predicted, but ok. The result of this is two takes on the Pathfinder. Both sporting Pimp My Ride style footgear. The site says they are going to appear in October, my guess is they’ll be at SEMA. Wish one of those was a Z instead.

Everyone knows Ecko has degenerated in to white trash garbage. If Nissan was attempting to raise their profile amongst trend influencers, especially those with an urban / youth culture / lifestyle, then they completely made the wrong move. Really, who is going to by this car? Granted it looks decent (if not a little bit cheesy), and the execution seems alright, but at the end of the day, Ecko isn’t a respected brand anymore, and it is now at the bottom of the streetwear food chain. I don’t know anyone who would buy this car, whoever could afford this car, wouldn’t want to be seen pulling up in an “Ecko” car. Kudos to Mark Ecko on scamming the executives over at Nissan, and convincing them that he was some how still relevant has his finger on the pulse of what these kids want. They are going to have to give some of these away to rappers or something…
