Mobile phone superstore, The Carphone Warehouse has launched an online auction site to simply sell off the growing mountain of used mobile phones.

My Mobile Auction has already sold 48,000 phones in its 4 months since going live and you can post your used phone on there for free till 17th November, then it will charge a fee of £1.25. When you register your phone they will do a background check to ensure it hasn’t been stolen thus further adding to the attractability of the site.

All sounds good but surfing round the site I couldn’t really see where the second-hand phones were – just lots of listsings for ‘brand new’ phones… am I missing something?
