Nike: Running on Air

By Industrial Brand on October 11, 2006

Nike has put together a clever little time-waster for potential shoe customers on their site, nikeair.com. It’s hard to explain what exactly it is other than a visual representation of their motto, “More Air. More World.”

The premise of the game, if that is what you want to call it, is to create a psychedelic world for a character that is running (or balling) in what appears to be a black void. You can manipulate the world by pressing any of the keys on your keyboard and instantly see your character interact with a barrage of color and sound. It is like playing DJ with an athlete at a drug-fueled rave.

There is no way to record the one of a kind combinations created and there is no real goal, but it’s surprisingly addictive.
