Ask sent us a line to show us an email from someone who wanted to approach her about buying AdLand/Commercial Archive – her rather superb ad-related site. When she googled their name, a comedian came up as the only person in the results. The email reads:

I am an attorney and business broker acting on behalf of a client who is interested in the possibility of acquiring your website "Adland," including all its underlying operations and assets. The client is a small, privately-held company based in the United States. The company wishes to remain anonymous at this time, but is open to either a stock, cash, or hybrid deal.

Looks like you’ve won the LOTTO, Ask. Send us your bank details and Paypal password…
