WSMV Nashville has a great article about the extremes of one bar’s door policy. We are all familiar with the no jeans or trainers (sneakers!) dress policies of so many places, and the recent  banning of hooded sweatshirts in shopping malls in England, but this particular bar has taken things one step further by banning not only items of clothing, but specific labels as well.

A controversial move, (seen by some as racially motivated,) lets hope this doesn’t get adopted by the NY/ London crowd. Forget worrying about being on the guestlist- if you’re not wearing Marc Jacobs you’re not getting in!!

  1. I live in Nashville, and I want to let people know that this has outraged many people and that it is being seen as a racist move. I want to assure you that not everyone in the South, Nashville included, is not like this.
