Some buzz has been made already about a new product produced by a Nestle/Coke JV that claims to make you skinny. Each 12-ounce Enviga can may help you burn up to 100 calories with its mix of green-tea extracts that boost metabolism called Epigallocatechin gallate.
A recent poll with almost 4,000 votes on Gawker’s Gizmodo suggests Coke & Nestle may have a job to convince a skeptical audience. But maybe there’s enough money behind this to make folk think otherwise. It’s not the first tea drink we’ve seen recently to promote the diet affects of its ingredients (Snapple already has a similar drink) – but it probably has the most eye-catching packaging.
